They generally require a large truck with a fifth wheel hitch to tow. These are easier to maneuver than the similar Travel Trailer because of how they are hitched to the truck, and thus are more stable and easier to back up.

Family RV Option 4: Travel Trailers
Travel Trailers are similar to Fifth Wheels, but are smaller and lighter. Because of these characteristics, Travel Trailers can be towed by trucks, SUVs and even most full-sized sedans. Although they are smaller, they still have a good amount of space and can accommodate up to four people. Generally, they are the least expensive option on this list. They do, however, take more skill to tow compared to the fifth wheel and are less stable on the road.
